The Challenge

Amthal's client Glinwell had a remote building that needed networking back to the main fire alarm system. Unfortunately this was impossible to do using traditional methods like running network cables.

The Solution

By installing Nimbus Connect onto the customers fire alarm system in the remote building they were able to provide their customer with real time notifications via the Nimbus Notify App as if the panels were on a wired network.

The Challenge❌

Glinwell a leading horticultural business operates across a large site. The team on site needed a centralised way of knowing if there was a fire or fault in one of the remote buildings on site. Following a site survey it was determined almost impossible to run network cables to the buildings fire alarm system using the traditional methods.

The Solution✅

Amthal decided the best solution would involve the installation of Nimbus Connect into Glinwell’s remote building. This would provide a wire-free solution to provide the customer oversite with minimal disruption.

The Results💡

The management team at Glinwell now have a dedicated mobile app to alert them of fires, faults, disablements and more. They can also use the Nimbus portal to see the status of this particular building including the full event log, the digital service records and weekly test history giving them complete peace of mind.
