About Sunfish Services

Sunfish Services help organisations with their fire alarm and security system needs. They install, maintain, and repair fire alarm and security systems to help organisations to protect their employees,  properties and assets.

The Challenge❌

Accurately recording which individual devices were tested during maintenance visits was becoming difficult. The team previously relied on handwritten service reports which lacked consistency and detail so needed to find a better solution.

The Solution✅

nimbusGo provided full comprehensive asset registers on the Nimbus Digital mobile app. The team simply uploaded the panel configuration into the Nimbus Portal and engineers were then able to automatically log device test results which included the date & time of test and the panel, loop and device numbers.

The Results💡

The data has proven invaluable during real fire events, helping verify device testing and supporting investigations with activation sequences. The team uses the full Nimbus suite of products including Connect, Go, Asset Management and the control room monitor to manage service records and site activity, with data shared directly to customers via the Nimbus portal.
