The Challenge

AllSaved were often informed about faults too late, with limited panel information available before engineers attended site. Historical fault data was difficult to access, making intermittent faults harder to diagnose and sometimes leading to multiple site visits.

About Allsaved Ltd

Allsaved provide fire alarm maintenance services across sites, including one of the UK’s largest energy infrastructure and renewable energy companies. With large and complex sites to maintain, ensuring efficient testing, accurate asset records and compliance reporting was essential.

The Challenge❌

Maintaining fire alarm systems across multiple customer sites created a visibility problem.

Faults were not always reported immediately, meaning engineers could be informed hours, or even days, after an issue first occurred.

When faults were eventually reported, site staff often couldn’t provide the detailed panel information needed to diagnose the issue remotely.

This created several operational problems:

  • Live notifications via mobile and portal

Rather than waiting for a customer to explain the issue, engineers could assess the situation remotely before attending site.

This meant engineers arrived better prepared, with the right information and a clearer understanding of the likely cause before stepping through the door.

Nimbus Connect also helped reduce the challenge of intermittent faults by providing historical event visibility that would normally be lost or overwritten on many panels.
